POLICIES
Students must have a valid California Learners Permit with them for each driving lesson
Certificate of Completion

In order to receive the certificate, the student must complete 6 hours of behind the wheel training

All accounts must be paid before certificates are issued

There will be a $25 charge for reissuing a certificate
Refund Policy
There are no refunds
Tri Valley Driving School has developed a professional and fair cancellation policy. We encourage the student to ask questions about our policy before purchasing a package
If the student does not choose to finish purchased lessons, the lessons can still be used for up to one year from purchase and will not be refunded.
Instruction hours and paid lessons are not transferable among students
Appointments

All lessons are scheduled for 2-hour intervals

All lessons may be subject to change. Our office will reach out to the student to reschedule. If the student does not respond, the change will still be made

The student is responsible for checking lesson availabilty before scheduling the driving test, and may need to reschedule the test if lessons are not available in the desired time frame

The student is responsible for coordinating with staff, the use of the Tri Valley Driving School car for the driving test

All lessons expire 1-year from the purchase date

Tri Valley Driving School reserves the right to refuse service to anyone

Appointment Cancellation
All cancellations must be made via the telephone or through text 48 hours prior to a scheduled lesson, or the sudent will be assessed a $100 late fee
In addition, a $100 fee will be assessed when an instructor arrives for a lesson but is unable to instruct the student for any reason, including:

The student does not have their permit

The student is impaired for reasons including lack of sleep, medication, intoxication etc..

The student requires corretive lenses, but does not have glasses or contacts with them for the lesson

The student is ill
-
The student is a no-show
Tri Valley Driving School assesses the fees for the following reasons:

We must pay our instructors for the lessons that they are scheduled for, whether or not they complete the lesson

If the student no-shows we still accrue transportation fees
-
Probable loss of income as other students were not able to book that lesson time
​
Rescheduling Policy:
​
All appointment reschedules must be made 48 hours prior to the lesson, and can be made by parent or student.
